Diwali and Covid 19

Posted on 13 April Tuesday, 2021

We are seeing a fall in Covid cases from the middle of October - people are again trying to be back to their old normal. This is evident in the festivities including decoration and lighting during Diwali. People are very happy to get a long weekend and they are wearing traditional dresses and sharing sweets and good times with friends and relatives. This is a big change from the situation since the lockdown.

Now that senior schools and colleges are going to re-open - we need to be more vigilant - wear masks, keep social distancing and maintain hand hygiene. There are second waves happening in Europe and many parts of India eg Delhi.

Till we have a vaccine to fight this virus - stay safe.
